Senior Staff Engineer

Bill Fleisher received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 1976. Prior to employment with Moog, he worked for Kollmorgen Corporation, Inland Motor Division, for 30 years where he was a design engineer and later an engineering manager responsible for permanent magnet motor products that included DC brush and brushless, linear, toroidal, and alternator designs.

Mr. Fleisher joined Moog’s Components Group in 2006 as a Senior Staff Engineer where he is responsible for design, development and analysis of electromechanical motor and alternator products for a variety of applications including Missiles, Launch, Ground, and Underwater Vehicles, industrial and medical equipment, and power generation.

He has written over 90 technical papers and been published in technical and trade journals. His primary focus is the design, product development, and research efforts for permanent magnet brushless and brush motors applied to special and state-of-the-art high performance applications.
